Individual Counselling

Individual counselling for stress, anxiety, trauma and more…

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Counselling offers a space where you can talk through your difficulties without fear of judgement.

I work online where you can experience therapy from the safety and comfort of your own space. For those who prefer outside, I also offer Walk and Talk therapy within Warrington, Cheshire.

Starting counselling can feel like a big decision, and it’s okay to feel unsure. I offer a free 20-minute consultation where you can ask questions and talk through what you’re looking for.

I support clients experiencing:

  • Relationship Difficulties including Breakups, Separation, Divorce and Infidelity
    • Counselling for relationships offers support during times of separation, divorce, breakups and infidelity. It provides a safe, confidential space to process painful emotions, rebuild self-esteem and explore healthier patterns. With guidance, you can find clarity, healing and a path forward, whether together or apart.
  • Addiction (you or your partner)
    • Counselling for addiction helps when alcohol, drugs, or other compulsive behaviours begin to damage relationships. Whether you are struggling yourself or supporting a partner, therapy offers a safe space to face the impact, explore change, and rebuild trust. It can support giving up addictive patterns and creating healthier ways of relating.
  • ADHD (you or your partner)
    • Counselling for ADHD can help when symptoms like distraction, impulsivity, or overwhelm place strain on a relationship. Whether you or your partner have ADHD, including after a late diagnosis, therapy offers space to understand its impact, strengthen communication, and ease conflict. It supports you in finding new strategies for connection and balance.
  • Grief
    • Grief is more than sadness. When we lose someone, whether through death, separation, or life changes, it can bring a depth of pain that words struggle to hold. You might feel overwhelmed by waves of longing, numbness, guilt, or even anger. At times it can feel like grief is changing who you are and isolating you from people who don’t know how to respond.
  • Anger
    • Anger is a powerful and often misunderstood emotion. It can surge suddenly or simmer quietly, sometimes linked to frustration, hurt, injustice, disappointment, or fear. When unexpressed or suppressed, anger may become destructive toward yourself or toward relationships. But when understood, it can also signal boundaries, protect what matters, and catalyse healing and change.
  • Adult Third Culture Kids & Expats / Repats
    • Counselling for third culture kids, expats, and repats offers support when adjusting to a new life feels overwhelming and relationships become strained. Therapy provides space to explore identity, belonging, and the challenges of change. It can help you navigate cultural shifts while strengthening your sense of connection and stability.
  • Financial Psychotherapy
    • Counselling for financial wellbeing helps when money worries, financial trauma, or limiting beliefs impact your life and relationships. Therapy offers a safe space to explore patterns around money, heal from financial abuse, and rebuild a healthier relationship with it. It can support you in creating greater confidence, freedom, and security.
  • Midlife including menopause
    • Counselling for midlife women offers support during times of transition, uncertainty, and shifting roles that can affect relationships. Therapy provides space to process emotions, reflect on identity, and explore new possibilities. It can help you find clarity, confidence, and renewed balance in this stage of life.
